Sugar Lick Cookie Co. is a seven-person bakery on Buttercream Lane in San Francisco. Weve been making cookies since 2013 — the kind people send screenshots of before they take a bite.

Every order is an excuse to share a moment — a birthday, a thank you, a sorry, a Tuesday. We design every cookie to make that moment a little more colorful and a lot more delicious.

Every cookie is rolled, painted and packed by hand. No production lines, no shortcuts.

We treat every box like a tiny gallery. The way it looks should match the way it tastes.

Our story

Twelve years, one mission.

2013

A grandma's kitchen

Maya bakes her first batch of decorated cookies for a friend's baby shower. The orders never stop.

2016

A real bakery

We open our first storefront on Buttercream Lane. The pink awning is non-negotiable.

2019

Workshops launch

A request from a regular turns into a full workshop program. Now hundreds of guests learn to decorate every year.

2022

Coast to coast

We ship our first nationwide order. The keepsake tin design is born.

2026

Sweeter than ever

Maya Bellweather

Maya started Sugar Lick in her grandmother's kitchen with one stand mixer and a notebook of family recipes. Twelve years later, she still tests every new flavor herself.

Theo Ramos

Theo trained in Lyon and ran a Michelin-starred pastry kitchen before joining us in 2022. He oversees our seasonal drops and chocolate program.

Juno is the steady hand behind every painted petal and piped pearl. Their custom designs have shown up at gallery openings and a few celebrity weddings.
